You know I can take care of myself.  Yeah.  I really don’t need any help from anyone.  I’ve got it covered.   You know I know better than anyone else.  I’m well educated.  I come from an Ivy league school.   I’ve got too many accolades that I can’t count them all.  I am my own boss and don’t need anyone else helping me to manage my empire.  I’m all there is and all that I need.

I’m good looking, yeah.  I mean really good looking.  You know that’s what’s important in this world.  I can have my pick of plenty of ladies.  But, you know I only go out with the best.  You know what I mean the ones that have it all going.  I don’t go for someone that isn’t just so because I only want to date those ladies that are like me.  Charming, good looking and wealthy.  That’s all that there is in life if you know what I mean.  Nothing else matters.  And, I mean nothing else.  You see, I’m so into myself that that’s all I can see.  Who wouldn’t want to be with me?

I’ve got a bank account to die for.  Somewhere in the billions.  Nope, I haven’t got a trillion yet, but this ‘ole boy is working on it.  I look around me and see a lot of suffering from who I call underlings.  You know people that shop at those discount places.  You know, I’m above all that.   I walk into a store on the boulevard and they all know me by name.  I just whip out my black card and I get them to hop to it and wait on me first.   You know one time I even stood in a line, and one of the clerks addressed me by my name and I hopped the line.  Can you imagine that.   I purchased this real expensive watch for myself.   It cost about $20,000.00.   But, you know that’s how great I am.    Just take a look at me.

I’ve got a big party to go to aboard a yacht, and I wanted a new watch to impress the ladies. (smile)  It’s being given by another billionaire.

Walking Aboard the Yacht 

Oh, Hi Jim.  Thanks for the invite.  See I know Jim by his first name.  He’s a big billionaire too in the yacht business.  He sells the biggest and the best yachts.   I wonder if he has more money than me?   I don’t think so because you see I’m the best.  No one’s got anything on me, if you know what I mean.

Meeting Someone Else Interesting

I think I’ll wander over to the bar.  Looks like Jim has a full bar.  I can probably find my favorite drink over there.   Hey, Mr. Bartender, I’ll have one of those.  Yeah the pricey one with the burgundy color liquor.   Oh, sir, you like the best!   Yeah that’s right, only the best.  Then a young lady walks up next to him.   He couldn’t take his eyes off her.  She had deep dark eyes and talked with an accent.   She spoke with a soft confident voice.  He asked her if he could buy her a drink.  She’d seen men like him before.  You know the “look at me ones”, but she thought she’d give him a chance.  Sure, I’d like to have a beer.   He looked at her like she was nuts.   A beer he said, wha?   Yea, a beer sounds good to me.   Sure, whatever the lady wants, and he ordered her a beer.   While she was standing there he looked her all up and down.   He noticed that her shoes looked quite old, and her dress looked like it was bought off a discount rack.  He invited her to go over to a table just to talk for awhile.  What a talk that was.   He held out a chair for her and she sat down.   He asked her what brings you to the party?  How do you know Jim?  She kind of stammered at first, but then said to him, I was invited by Jim because I’m one of his best servants in his employ.   Today is my birthday and he invited me to his big party to celebrate my day.   Oh, so you’re one of the best servants he’s got?  Yes, that’s what he tells me, I’m the best.    Well, he sat and thought for awhile about him being only the best.  Only the best she says of herself, but it was a little bit different best.

What She Shared With Him

Well, that’s a good thing being the best.   She smiled and said yes, he’s always told me I was the best servant that he has ever had and he wanted to have me attend his party for a birthday present.

Sir, I know this is out of the ordinary, but if you died right here and right now, do you know where you would go?  I mean have you ever heard about Jesus, and his love and forgiveness for sinners?   I mean really if you died right now where would you be?

Well, little lady, that’s a good question and one I’ve never thought of before.  Where would I go if I died right here and right now?   I guess I really don’t know.  Where am I suppose to go?  Well, Sir there is a beautiful heavenly place that is inhabited by angels and the souls of the saved.  It’s a place where you go after you’ve been here on earth for awhile spreading his Godly word.  It’s a place where all tears will be dried and where you will see your loved ones that have gone before you?  You do have loved one’s don’t you?  Well, yes, I do.  My mother and father both died in a plane crash.  That was really something just like that the plane crashed and they were gone.  I got the message from the police dept. and I’ve never cried so much in my whole life.  They meant everything to me.  Right then a tear dropped from his right eye as he reminisced about his parents.  She asked him don’t you want to see them again?   Why, yes, of course I do.   My mother kept telling me there was a beautiful place where someday her and dad would go, but you know I was a young man when it happened and my mother and dad had lost it all.  I mean all their riches here on earth.  All gone all at once.  The only thing I have left is a cross that my mother used to wear around her neck.  I had saved that cross for all these years.  But, after that happened to them, I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to end up like that all broke here on earth.  I was going to work and work until I had it all.  And, I did it.  I have it all down here on earth.    She looked deeply into his eyes and saw a touch of insecurity.  She saw a little boy with sadness in his eyes.   She said to him you have it all?  I mean everything?  Are you sure?  He looked back at her intently and said no, not really.  Something is missing in my life, but I’m not sure what it is.   Then she asked him again if you died right here right now do you know where you will go?   No.  I really don’t know.

The Story

Sir, I want to tell you a story, but it’s a real story.   There was another little boy named Jesus.  He was born in a manger and he had two parents too.  Their names were Mary and Joseph.  Jesus didn’t have material possessions like you, but he had something worth more than all the riches in the world.  He had a heavenly Father that loved him with ALL his HEART.  This little boy named Jesus was born down here on earth to be a Savior for all.   When he was older Jesus died on the cross for all our sins so that we may live forever and ever more.   He did?   He really died on the cross for all my sins and he loves me with All his HEART?  Yes, sir, it’s true he really does.   He doesn’t look at us for what we are, what we have, or how powerful we are down here on earth.  He looks into our hearts and he sees what’s there.    He’s looking for your love right here and right now.  You see, I’m not only a servant for Jim who’s giving this huge party, but I’m also a servant for my Lord Jesus Christ.   I’m one of his servants down here on earth just wanting you and everyone to know how much Jesus loves you.   All you have to do is to let him know that you love him back and ask for his forgiveness right here and right now.  You see, we never know how much time we have left down here on earth.  It’s all up to him who he calls home and when.  It’s all up to him.   So, the next step is up to you.  Just say his name, Jesus, and ask him to forgive you.  He’s listening to you right here and right now.   What are you waiting for Sir?     As you mother and father they have faded away.  Wouldn’t you like to see them again in Heaven?   It’s up to you now.  Jesus is waiting for you along with your parents.

Turned Away for a Minute

The man who had it all had turned away for just a minute and when he turned back around she was gone.   He couldn’t believe she was here one minute and gone the next.  What happened to her?    He jumped up and started walking toward his friend Jim.   Jim what happened to the lovely young lady that was here.  You know the one whose birthday was today, the one that was your best servant here on the yacht.  You know that one.    Jim looked at his friend and kind of rubbed his forehead trying to think of who he was talking about?  You know, to be honest, I don’t know who you’re talking about.   My help on the ship is from an outsource company that I employ through a big company.  I’m sorry, but I don’t have a servant like that here on my yacht.  But, you’ve got to have one.  She spoke in a soft kind voice and she was different not like the other girls.  She seemed to be something not of this world.

The Dream

One night after he met the girl of his dreams as she came to him in a dream.   She repeated what she had said to him.  She told him how much Jesus loved him and then he had a vision of his mother and father and he saw that they were happy and loved.    While he was asleep, he gave his heart to Jesus.  In the dream he cried out loud for all the people that he had ignored, hurt and had hard feelings toward even to this day.  Then he asked Jesus to please forgive him and he told Jesus how much he loved him back.

Next Day

The next day a man was found and he had passed away in his bed.   He was one of the wealthiest men in the world.   His obituary stated that he had it all.   And, in reality he did have it all because right before he passed away he gave his heart to Jesus.    Yes, my friend, he really did have it all.

My friend it’s never too late to give your heart to Jesus.  All you have to do is ask him into your heart, ask him for your forgiveness and the rest is history.

May Jesus Bless You Right Here and Right Now. . . . .  In Jesus’ name amen.

I used to go to a small church where there were only so many members.  There were children and they were of different ages   I tried to help keep the church alive by teaching Sunday school lessons.  I would go to the christian store and purchase little books, and other things to teach my Sunday school class.    As I stated above there were children of different ages so I had to try and make the classes so that everyone would enjoy them.   I had them make  projects and read to them Bible stories.  When it was time for a Christmas program we put one on with the children.  It was a lot of fun.   I tried to do what I could to help keep the church alive, but in the end it succumbed and passed away.   That is why pastors always ask church members to bring someone.  You have to try and keep a church going and growing, otherwise, it could end up like this church.

You know a church is really people getting together and studying and praising the Lord.   God’s church must grow and keep going.   One way you could help spread Jesus’ love for everyone is when you meet someone even if it’s for the first time you could say a little something uplifting to them.  What I try to say to people when I talk to them even if it’s a stranger on the phone is “Have a Blessed Day”.    “Have a Blessed Weekend”.  People need to know that you care.   People need to know that Jesus loves them.

When you speak to someone and you Bless them, you  are doing Jesus’ works.    There was a gentleman whom I spoke to on the phone regarding business and he said to me Have a Blessed Day.   I felt blessed.  I think it’s one of the people that I had talked to earlier and he was just reblessing me.

Even if you give them some kind of acknowledgement to share Jesus’ blessing it keeps him alive in people’s hearts.   Don’t let Jesus’ love for people pass away from their hearts like that little church that passed away.

Jesus is alive and well and don’t be afraid to let others know about him by sharing his love even if it’s just saying to them “Have a Blessed Day”.  You never know whose heart you might touch.

My friend, I hope and pray that you have a “Blessed Day”, and more to come, in Jesus’ name amen.

How it All Started

I’m way down in this deep dark black hole and I can only look up.  I need another hit real fast. One’s not enough.  Never enough, need more and more.  Can’t get enough, yeah.   Give me more drugs, yeah, give me more, but it’s not enough any more.  Need more and more, yeah that’s it ah. . . .  feel like I’m flying now.  Yeah this is great.  My supplier even looks a little buzzed today.  My homies here feel the pain too.  Sometimes I feel like I’ll never get out of this deep dark black hole.   I mean hole of addiction.

As a young man, I grew up here in the Ghetto.  It’s a way of life here.  The pimps and Ghetto hoes all use it.  It must be okay.  I was raised on it.  My mama and pappa they did it, they even became a pusher because it’s the thing to do.   For everyone here it’s a way of life.   Those other people just don’t know what they’re missing.

It’s real hot down here in my hole, and I can’t get out.  There’s nothing left for me.  Just get another hit.   I never have enough down here  in the hole.  Want more and more.   Oh man I feel the pain, but I just can’t get off of this high.

Me and my homies are going to the downtown area hot spot tonight  yeah, that’s the newest place in town where all the druggies hang out . Yeah, I got my seat.  Got to try the different drugs to see what I like the most.   Me and my homies heard there was a new drug on the street.  Just want a little hit.  Yeah, this is so, so hot.

Hot Spot Downtown

Me and my homies are having fun tonight.  (tee hee hee).  Dancing with the hoes.  Yeah, this is my life for now and forever, yeah, yeah, feel so cool.  Yea, I’ll try a hit of that too.  (tee hee hee). Yeah, give me one of those too.  Oh, man, I am flying high now.

The Long Trip

Oh man.  Where’s this trip going to?  I feel weird, like I’m going in and out,  yeah, that hit must have been a good one.  Oh, what’s that you say?  What guy on a gurney? Oh, yeah I see him, what the?  Who is that?  Whoa, that’s not me.  What’s that I hear?  “Another one that probably won’t make it”?   Who are they talking about?  No that’s not me.  I just took a little hit that’s all.    What do they mean he won’t make it.  Hey guys, I’m here, I’m with it.  Look at me.  Or, am I?   I just had a little bit of a hit on a new drug that’s all.  I must be dreaming.  Yeah, this is just a dream.  I’ll wake up soon.

New Realm of Dimension

Man, look at all the beautiful colors, whoa and they’re in 3D.  Beautiful, beautiful colors.  Light streaming through and through showing so much life.  I’ve never seen such beautiful colors.   Whoa, what’s that from afar?   What’s that big ball of light?   Whoa this is really cool.  There’s a man that’s walking towards me out of this orb of light.  His eyes are piercing me through and through my very soul.   He looks so awesome and serious.  What’s all this warmth and love and peace that I feel.  Who is this guy?   Oh man, I think this is a cool trip.  This is really a good drug.

Oh, no, this is a different trip.  Who is this stranger that I see?  What’s he want from me?  Oh, no maybe this is something different.  He looks like that guy in the ‘Book’ that I picked up in the seedy motel that we once went to.  Yea, he looks like that bearded guy named Jesus.    Oh man, looks like he’s getting ready to speak.  He’s now stretching his arms out to me.

The Heavenly Message

Son, I’ve had you on my mind for a long time now.  You’ve been living the life of this world.  Get this hit, get that hit, not enough.  Never satisfied.  Need stuff more and more.  Thinking it’s alright to do what you’ve always done in your life.

But, today I want to show you a new way of life.   You see I want to show you what you’re missing.   From the time you wake up in the morning to the time that you retire at night I’m going to show you a new way of life.

This is You Living the Life That I Want You to Live. 

Next, the bearded man takes his hand and makes a big swoop  right in front of me, just like magic, and I see myself down here on earth talking to everyone I can about Jesus and how much he loves them no matter what.  I tell them about his forgiveness and all consuming love that lasts until the end of time for all.   Then I see myself witnessing to everyone that I can get ahold of about the love and power of Jesus.

I see all the people down here on earth that has been touched by Jesus’ love as I go on and on to spread his love throughout the world.   This is better than any high that I can go on.   I can’t get enough of my Jesus.   I see the faces of those I’ve touched.  Jesus lets me see all the pain go away from their body as I see all this darkness that looks like black mist leave their bodies.  Jesus next shows me this brilliant white light that is flowing right through them as they are blessed with his holy spirit.  He actually lets me see them anew with his love.    They are being born anew and will never be the same again.  Never want for more.  Never be alone, never want for anything evermore.  Always knowing that you are forever unconditionally loved forever and ever.

Now I see him walking a little more closer to me, I guess I invited him in with my eyes as I return a loving look back to him.  Do you feel him yourself, do you feel his love for you?   Now, he’s close enough to touch.  I feel him put his arms tightly around me and I feel all his love .  I’ve never had such a heavenly hug before, have you?  Do you feel him hugging you right now? Did you ask him into your heart?  Do you feel like he’s never ever going to let you go, no matter what?

Back Down Here on Earth

My eyes feel so heavy.  I hear the doctor saying “This one’s going to make it”.  Yeah, Jesus, I’m going to make it and I’ve got you to thank.

I’m back now, and I’ll never be the same.   How many Souls can I help Jesus save?  I got a new hit on life.

So Many Souls

How many souls can I help Jesus save?  How many can I save from the fires of you know where.  I have a hard time saying that word.  I’m not kidding, I really mean it.    It sounds so final.  I even pray for Jesus to give the people in that other place another chance, but it’s up to him as it’s his world.  He knows what is best, so I also say may his will be done, amen.

Whatever Pain You May Have

I don’t know what kind of pain you are enduring here on earth, but remember there’s always another way.  Jesus will take you out of your darkness and put you into his light.  Just like this story where there is a young man who is living in darkness you too can go into the light and live a new life with Jesus,  son of God.

No matter where you are right now you can ask upon him to deliver you from whatever problem or addiction you are having.    Do you feel his warmth, peaceful, loving arms surrounding you right here right now because he’s really here with you right now in spirit.  He’s the beginning and he’s the end of your life.  Just call out to him he’s waiting for you.

I haven’t been writing for awhile because I finally took a vacation.  I haven’t had one for about 20 years or so.  I decided I’d better go while I can.    I went with a dear girlfriend.

Now, I want to tell you a funny story.   I wanted to leave real early, but my friend was used to flying and she decided to leave at a later time.  (I was nervous about that), but went along with it.  We got to our airport and I went to go over to the garage nearby to park, but they were full.   That means I have to try and find a parking place.  That is so scary to me.  I get anxious at big airports.  I drove around and around trying to find where I was suppose to go.  My friend was calling me on my cell phone and I was running out of time, so I just didn’t pick up her call.   I looked at my watch.  I was running out of time.   I found a place to park and tried to get to the back of the van to get my stuff.  The garage was dark and it wasn’t my van that I was driving, so I wasn’t familiar with it enough.  And, I couldn’t get to the back of the van where my stuff was soon enough.  I then proceeded  to the back of the van and I looked at the keys I had, but decided I couldn’t get in there either, at least not quick enough.  The clock was running.  I then made a decision to forget about my bags and just run.  That’s what I did.   I ran and ran and ran.  We just made it.  Sometimes you have to make a rash decision and just go for it.  I wanted the vacation.  I let my bags in the van, and I was alright.  I just purchased a few clothes when I got there.  Whew. . . .

On our vacation, I didn’t have my laptop and I just got a new phone that’s got a 145 or so page handbook, so I didn’t have time to study it before my vacation, that’s why I couldn’t write any articles.   At the library where we stayed they only wanted you to be there for 45 minutes a day and that’s it.    But, on the way back from our vacation on the plane I was blessed because I sat by a young man who was an airline pilot and he had the same type of phone that I did and  so he showed me some of the important details and he even showed me how to take one of his pictures that he had on his phone of the ocean and he sent it to my phone just like that by just pressing a button on the phone.  It was so simple.  Technology today is really something, so I learned a little bit more about my phone and how to go online with it.  The pilot also taught my friend and I a little bit about flying in a plane.  He was pretty interesting.  It’s not so scary anymore to fly on a plane after talking with him.  I’m ready for my next vacation.

On our vacation we headed towards the ocean.  We went to Fort Myers and Sanibel Island in Florida.   For about 3 evenings we just sat by the ocean and watched the beautiful sunset.    I have to tell you something though about the ocean.  I quietly sat by the ocean and what I heard was awesome.   You know how you hear the ocean make a noise as the waves come in, well, what I heard was all these different noises as the ocean was coming in.  I kept thinking I’d hear just one noise from the ocean, but this ocean sounded so big and vast with a lot of different noises as the waves would come in.  It was like I was hearing the whole ocean’s waves coming in and it sounded like thousands of different noises at one time.   I think the Lord was telling me that this ocean was so big and immense that I couldn’t even fatham it.    Let me ask you a simple question:  “How can anyone think that there is no God when sitting in front of an ocean and hearing the waves coming in?”   Gee, I wonder who created this big vast ocean?  Man or God?  Yes, I do believe there is a God and I know he’s alive and well.

Just take some time and look around you at nature and all that he’s created.  Go out to the woods for a walk if you can and listen to all the different noises in the woods.   The breeze of the wind as it’s moving through the trees above you.   Next, listen to a little bird in the trees singing it’s song to you.  You hear different birds making different noises.   Walk by a bee hive and hear all the hundreds of bees while they are making honey.  Feel the sunshine and breeze as it fans your face as you are walking along.  Find yourself walking by a garden and see the beautiful flowers, and stoop down to enjoy the different fragrances of each rose.  Next, listen to the rain drops falling down and one-by-one  hitting the grass as you walk along and then listen to the thunder and then look up to see the lightening hit the sky bursting into different types of pure white bursts of lightening.  Lastly, gaze upon the beautiful sky and see a big rainbow stretching from side-to-side.    This is God’s country.

I want to end this article with something that happened to me while I was at the Shrine.  I was sitting on a bench at the Shrine and it was a beautiful day.  While I was sitting there a blue Jay bird came down from the tree to the left side of me and this bird just sat there for awhile.  I felt like I was in heaven.  It’s like a piece of heaven came down to sit by me for awhile.  It wasn’t afraid of me and I wasn’t afraid of the bird either.   I felt such a peace just sitting there.  I couldn’t believe the bird just sat there for quite a long time.   Another one of Jesus’ priceless treasures.

May you find your own piece of heaven right where you are.   God Bless You.

May Jesus bless you with ALL his heart.  When Jesus blesses you then you have it all.  There is nothing else that you need.   Jesus’ love is unconditional.  It’s priceless.

No amount of money could purchase Jesus’ love or blessings.   If someone would ask me which one would I want either Jesus’ love versus anything else in this world, I would seek my heavenly Father’s  love first and foremost.   No amount of money, earthly possessions or riches would ever take the place of my Father’s love for me.

Some things in life are priceless and his love for me takes first place.  When you feel love from your Father in heaven you want for nothing anymore.

Whoever is reading this, please know that Jesus is alive and well.  All he wants is for you to accept his love now and forever.

There once was a farmer named Farmer Smith.   He was so proud of his big farm, 8 children, loving wife and hundreds of fine distinctive horses.   Many of his horses he would take to horse shows and they would place 1st place.

But on this particular day, the sun was shining brightly in the morning distributing its rays all over the farm where Farmer Smith, his wife and his children were gathered.  You see one of their horses was having a baby foal.     Farmer Smith pulled up a chair for him and his wife and the children were all gathered around some standing and the smaller children were sitting on blankets.   They were all amazed as the baby horse was being delivered.  This was a special day as all the children were here for this particular delivery.   It was hard to gather them all together sometimes as many of them had chores to do, so this was a special day indeed.

Well, the baby horse (foal) was delivered, and you should have heard the little children scream with delight.     The baby horse that was born was such a beautiful little one.  He had long dark hair and was so beautiful.   The little children named him Barney after their beloved guinea pig pet that they used to have.  Now, that’s another story.  But, even Farmer Smith saw potential in him even though he was just a little foal yet.  The horse reminded him of one of his best horses that won more than one horse show.  He wondered what great things this particular horse would do. The little children never seen such a beautiful horse before.  They too had hope for his future as a great show horse.

The first year went along and the horse became a yearling until he became a big horse (a colt) and was able to go to the horse show.  Now Barney was the favorite of the family.  Farmer Smith, his wife and children didn’t want to show favoritism, but Barney was the one.

Barney did indeed become the greatest horse that Farmer Smith ever showed.  Barney won the most awards and Farmer Smith was very proud.  Barney won three 1st place prizes at the horse show year after year.  But after three years all that changed and so did Barney.

One day,  in the Fall, one of the little children noticed that Barney wasn’t drinking water anymore.   All the rest of the horses were okay, but Barney had a problem, he just didn’t want to drink anymore.   Now, Farmer Smith, Mrs. Smith and all the 8 children would do everything they could to get Barney to drink water.  They would take turns leading Barney to the water trough, and each time Barney would turn up his nose at the water.

Ever hear the expression “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink?” 1175 Old English Homilies. 

Barney just decided one day that he wasn’t going to drink water anymore.  Barney was just giving up.  Farmer Smith, his wife and children didn’t want to give up on him, but they’ve all tried to lead Barney to the well and tried so hard to get him to drink that they didn’t want to give up, but after awhile they saw how fruitless it was.  ‘Ole Barney just didn’t drink any water anymore.   As the days went on Barney got more and more weak.  He was looking so pale and worn out.  Farmer Smith, his wife and children were very worried about Barney.  They kept leading him to water, but he wouldn’t drink.

One sad day, Barney couldn’t even be led to the water trough.  He was too weak.  Barney’s time had run out.   You could hear Farmer Smith, his wife and especially the little children were all sobbing out loud.  It was the saddest day on the farm.  Even the other horses seemed to slow down too.  You see animals feel pain in others and it was reflected on the whole mood of the farm.  Then the next day Barney succumbed.  It was all over.  It was too late now.  Barney just wouldn’t drink water even though everyone tried to get him to drink some water.

You see, how many times did your family, your children or others try to lead you to the water of everlasting life?   How many times did you turn your head the other way, turn around and walk away when they tried to tell you about Jesus and how God sent him here to save souls and offer all everlasting life?   Does this sound like you?  Don’t be like the horse that wouldn’t drink when he was led to the water trough.    You know what I’m talking about.

Listen, today is a new day for you.  God had a special plan for you.  It’s never too late to turn around, go back and drink from the water of everlasting life.  That’s right it’s never too late not even for you.

Listen to those that are around you.  Jesus talks to us sometimes through other people.  Yes, I kid you not.   Sometimes he leans heavily on a heart and that is why they try to lead you to Jesus.  But, sometimes we are stubborn and don’t want to listen.  Sometimes we even think that we know better.   My friend, I know from personal experience that Jesus is alive and well, and there is a reason that you are reading this particular story.  He’s speaking to you about everlasting life.  Are you listening?  Are you ready to be saved or are you going to go on with your life aimlessly wandering around, but not having any personal plan for your life.  Now is the time to point your life in the right direction.  Jesus is all around you here and now.  Just open up your heart to him and let him be the Lord of your life.  I hope you don’t end up like Barney.  His family all tried to get him to drink water from the trough, but he was so stubborn and just decided to stop drinking his water.

May whomever is reading this story drink from Jesus’ fountain of life.  In Jesus’ name amen.

People can count different ways that they love you.  I love you because of this, because of that, and just because.

Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is slowly approaching.  People are making personal plans for this special day.  Thousands of cards will be purchased, presents will be bought, people will be getting engaged and looking forward to a future together.

When Jesus Loves You on Valentine’s Day

You see when Jesus loves you it’s a different kind of love. It is a special love that no one can take away from you.

When people love each other usually it is in different ways.  Jesus doesn’t love you just for a few different reasons.   Jesus’ love is an ALL encompassing love.   Jesus doesn’t just pick out a few good qualities that you have and then love you, but Jesus looks at the (whole picture) not just a small part of you.    You see my friend, when Jesus loves you it’s with ALL his heart.  He loves everything about you not just for a few different things about you.

When two people come together many times it’s for so many years.  Sometimes it lasts forever and sometimes it does not.   Sometimes there is an all burning passion of love for another person and as the years weather on so does your love and the candle slowly burns out.  But, when Jesus loves you it’s magnificent and goes on for ever and ever.

So, remember when someone loves you for various different reasons remember that Jesus loves you for ALL of you, not just a part of you.  He’s here for you for now and forever and ever.  His love for you is infinite, and will never go away.  You see you are his child and he is your creator and he will love you until the end of time.

Fear is all around us.   People are afraid of everything nowadays.  Did you know that fear is from the other one (the dark one that lingers around every corner).  It did not come from the Lord.  It’s the other one’s weapon that he can use against us.  If we are fearful all the time how can we ever enjoy our life and what God has given us.   Fear, being afraid, paranoia is all fear.   Please take all the fear and push it away.   It’s wasted time here on earth.   We’re all guilty of this.   Fear of this afraid of that da, da, da. . . . ..

When you feel fear coming upon you just say a prayer to Jesus and ask him to take all that fear away from you.   As you pray, feel Jesus’ arms around you. Feel all of his love around you at the same time.    He can take all that fear away from you.  He is in control of everything and will forever be.  Remember, that there is more than what is here on earth for you.  There is such a beautiful magnificent place far away from here.  Jesus is preparing a place for us.  A place where there is no more fear.  No more want.  We will feel so much love from Jesus.  You can’t even imagine how happy and loved you will feel when some day you will go on and be with Jesus.

Fear can paralyze you.   Make you feel bad for no reason.  Walk with the Lord and be free of worry and fear.    My friend, throw off the blanket of fear and put on the blanket of Jesus.  Feel his presence all around you and he will take care of you. He is your father here down on earth and up in heaven waiting for you.

I want to tell you a little story about a picture that my Grandpa used to have.   On the front of the picture there was a big white angel on it.   There was a saying in German woven on the picture too, and it had an old wooden frame around it that came from my Uncle’s barn.    I asked my Grandpa what the picture said in German.   He told me that it said “Trust in the Lord and he will take care of you”.

Many times throughout my life when I would feel bad or fearful of something, I would think about that picture and what it said in German.   “Trust in the Lord and he will take care of you”.   This ole’ saying has been with me for most of my life since I was a little girl.

You see my friend, if you ever feel afraid or alone, or just plain bad, think of my Grandpa’s saying.  “Trust in the Lord and he will take care of you.”  You see, that is the truth.

What does it mean to trust in the lord?   I’ll tell you what it means to me.   It means that you should give it all to the Lord.  Trust him for everything that you need.  He takes care of the smallest of things including little birds that depend on the Lord to feed them in the wintertime.  You see Jesus takes care of everything in the earth.

Why would our Lord take care of everything in the world?  Yes, you guessed it.  Because it all belongs to him.   You tell me that you don’t believe that?  Who else would it belong to?

Do you think that Jesus would just let it all go?  No.  I know that he loves us with ALL his heart.   Now I know that many times he’s not happy with us.  We’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of the Lord, but I know that he must think that there is something worth saving here on this earth.  Otherwise, I think we’d all be gone.   I think he has patience with us like nothing we could ever imagine, but I know that he loves us so much that he’s always within ear reach for each of us.  Why?  Again, because he loves us to much with ALL his heart.

We aren’t worthy of his love, but he’s still there for us.   He’s our father, our counselor, our dearest friend, and his love is unconditional like a Father’s love for a child.  If only we could understand how much he loves us.

Jesus’ love for us will never go away even though many times we fall away from him.  We try to go our own way and slowly drift away, but not too far away that he can’t pull us back within his reach.   He will never let us go too far away from him.   If only we could stop thinking so much about ourselves and just let him love us with ALL his heart.

Jesus, whoever is reading this, may he or she be Blessed with your Holy Sprit forever and ever amen.

People’s emotions is a BIG thing to think about.   How many different emotions can people have?   Did you ever think about that.  God created all these different emotions that we have.  When we are happy we smile, we laugh, even belly laugh.  (people don’t laugh enough nowadays).  When we are sad what do we do?  We frown, we sometimes cry, maybe we lash out at each other.  When we’re angry what do we do, frown again, maybe cross our arms and draw within ourselves.  Geez, did man create that too?   (Tee hee hee).  I think naught.

God created our emotions and there are many of them.  The look of surprise, the look of disbelief.  What about when we are feeling negative about something what do we do shake our head back and forth and look disgruntled.  Sure, there’s no God.  Yea, that’s right.

Did you ever ask yourself where did all this come from?  God created everything really fast.   Man would still be scratching his head wondering how in the heck am I going to do this?  Create all these different types of emotion in man and woman.  Yea, right there’s no God.  Tell me another story.

Let’s expand on this thought a little bit.   I remember when I was at the zoo and I looked at a tiger eye-to-eye.  I didn’t know that this was an aggression thing to do.  That tiger took my act to be aggressive and the tiger went straight forward to take me out until he hit the glass.   You see, even this small emotion man to animal was something.   Thank God the glass was there otherwise I might not be typing this.  And by the way the tiger was okay too.

When Jesus was carrying the cross I can’t imagine what kind of emotion was flowing through all the people there including our Blessed Jesus.

Just something to think about.

Peer pressure is hard to take.   If you’re in the wrong group and they are doing things that you know are bad, you feel the pressure to go along with the group.

You have to be careful who you run with.  What if your group believes one way and you the other, but because of peer pressure you do things that you would not ordinarily do?  Peer pressure can make you into a person that really isn’t you.

You see there was a young man who was thinking about doing a bad crime.   His peers were egging him on.  He didn’t know how to get out of it.

At the same time he heard a preacher in the neighborhood talking about Jesus and telling the people that he saves.

This young man didn’t know which way to turn.   His peer group was dangerous and bad, but this preacher in town was preaching about Jesus and doing good.  He was torn between the two.

Then something miraculous happened.  This young man’s family asked him to go and listen to the preacher speak about Jesus.  So, he decided to go along with his family.   While he was sitting in the pulpit he didn’t see it coming.  It hit him so fast.  It was the holy spirit.  It just came upon him.  He could feel this presence flow through him.   He was visibly shaken to those who witnessed the event.  But, they didn’t know it, but Jesus spoke softly and quietly to him.  He said “Dude, you don’t have to do this.  You are my son now and forever.  I died on the cross for you so that you would not be filled with sin”.   Come to me and I will save you.  You can live with me forever and ever.”

When this happened to this young man he knew that something big had happened to him.  At this point, he realized that Jesus is alive and well.    He had decided not to live his live in sin and he made a commitment to follow the Lord.

The Lord performs many miracles.  We just need to see them.

This story is fictional, but may very well happen in real life.
